Hi All,
We moved to canada permanently in October. We applied for PR for our 1 year old son born in us. He is currently with us. They haven’t sent us any confirmation of application yet. Also his passport doesn’t have any stamp or status expiry date. Should we keep applying for extension for his status as tourist? And how do we know when his status expires?

His status expires six months from when he came to Canada. You have to apply for an extension.

Are you compliant with your RO? When did you land and how many days have you spent in Canada? You should only apply to sponsor if you are compliant with your RO.
