Hello Everyone.

Has anyone had a baby lately in Canada?

I and my wife are Indian citizens with PR.
We are expecting a child end of this year and we want to take our child to India to meet everyone before we settle back in Canada.

We plan to fly at 4 months of age at the earliest.
How long does it take for the documents to process from birth certificate to passport to indian visa?

We are aiming to fly end of April 2023, but from what I see online about the timeliness, it seems a little farfetched.

Apply baby’s documents asap after baby birth(online, super easy). Remember you need the certificate which has parental info too for passport office to accept it.
Once u hav birth certificate apply baby’s passport
