Hello all,

I am a naturalized Canadian. My wife is a Chinese national. Our baby daughter was born last year in China.
We did not get her a chinese passport or register her in the Hukou system. Instead I applied and got her a CDN passport and a CDN citizenship certificate. My wife's PR application just got approved recently. So we are looking into air tickets for both of them.

Now my question is do my wife and daughter need to get a exit permit / exit visa from the local Public Security Bureau exit-entry office in order to leave China? Anyone with similar case or experience please help!

Thank you!

Did you get your child a limited validity passport ?
Even so, would she require an exit permit from the Chinese Public Security Bureau?

Your wife can leave China with her landing paper for PR+ her Chinese passport.

For your baby, I have no idea. You can go to local
relevant administration to check it out.
