B.com from Correspondence + CA qualifies for CANADA immigration?

Hello Friends,

My friend has done B.com in which last 1 year he has to apply for correspondence as he has to undergo training for CA. He has bachelor degree - B.com (1-year correspondence in last year) + CA from ICAI - India.He is looking for IELTS exam for CANADA immigration.

Can anyone please clarify our doubt that whether the B.com degree (with one year of correspondence) will be qualified equivalent to Bachelor's degree in CANADA?

If the correspondence was done from the same university and the degree received bares the mark of a State University, then I don't see a reason why this wouldn't be classified as BCom, however, Canadian assessment requires 4 years of education. So maybe he should include his ICAI transcripts to make it at least classified as graduate education.
