Did you apply for arc on sponsor case in may 2015 and still did not get it approved? Did they ask for anything after that? Did they atleast tell you how much more time for processing?

I applied for my arc application on March 28 2018, MP contacted immigration for an update and said it is in que for possessing. I have stage 1 of humanitarian approved with my family. Immigration requested an approved arc application before they can finalize the application and bring us back to Canada after being deported of a declined refugee claim. Does anyone know how long the application takes at the Canadian embassy in Rome Italy visa for Albanian citizens or an average time for these applications ?

Congratulations vannak! I also was asked to send my passport... I guess that means ARC approved! Whoo hoo I applied for my spousal sponsorship at the Accra Office in Feb 2016. I applied for the ARC in Jan. 2018 and approved last week in May.
How did you apply for ARC? Did they ask for it in the sponsorship application themselves?
Yes, I guess. After I had an interview I was told that they beleived my marriage was genuine but before they could approve my visa I had to apply for the ARC. I did not need to fill out a form. They told me to pay the fees and write a letter explaining why I should be permitted to re-enter Canada.

The reason for the TRP is because my dad filed a refugee claim in 1999 but was denied and were ordered to leave but he didnt and we ended up being deported. The officer issued me TRP based on the fact that I was a minor and had no influence on my fathers action.
I just received my new TRP valid for another year but this time I also been advised to apply for ARC. My question is where do I submit my application. Is it here in Canada or to Vienna(cause Im from Hungary and thats the office for Hungarians)

Hello, i have received a letter for me to apply for arc(special letter to submit why i should given the right to return,pay the fee) I got a departure order then turned into deportation due to wrong information.I read a lot of misinterpretation of the whole ARC process and some of the comments are very demoralizing. We should look at the whole picture and not just one side of the process. ARC is not a simple thing to go through but at the same time the IO will have to weight one factor against the other depending on the person's situation ...
I went on the CIC website and read the manual about the ARC procedure and here's what I found that the other members omitted to mention
Factors to consider when assessing an ARC application•
The severity of the IRPA violation that led to the removal.
• The applicant's history of cooperation with CIC:

In most cases, a proper assessment of these factors will require contacting the office responsible
for the removal. If there is evidence of criminal activity, officers may consult with Canadian law
enforcement authorities and ask for a local police certificate.

Bona fide marriages, attendance at the funeral of a family member or acceptance under a provincial nominee program are examples of factors that would normally constitute a “compelling reason” for returning to Canada. However, no one factor alone should automatically serve to override concerns related to the safety of Canadians and the security of Canadian society.
Other considerations When assessing an A34/35/37 application, CIC must consult the National Security Division of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
If an applicant is inadmissible on grounds other than those cited in the previous removal order (i.e., medical, criminality, security), they must apply for and obtain a temporary resident permit (TRP). In cases of criminal inadmissibility, a rehabilitation decision (or the applicant is deemed to have been rehabilitated) or a pardon (a foreign pardon or one issued by the National Parole Board) will also be necessary. A TRP does not overcome the need for an ARC.
An ARC can be granted for return to Canada as a permanent resident, for a one-time visit, or for occasional entries for a specified purpose (e.g., medical treatments, work-related activities) over a prescribed period. If an applicant requires an ARC but has not submitted fees, a letter should be sent explaining the requirement for an ARC. If no response is received within 90 days, the application may be refused
under A41 and A52(1). Please refer to Appendix H for a sample letter.
If the Department defrayed the costs of multiple removals, the entire amount of removal-related expenses must be recovered. The cost recovery fee applies to each application.
Any individual who has a right of appeal before the IAD as per A63 can appeal a negative ARC

Remember to be honest with them and with the reason why you were deported. Highlight what has changed and why you need to reenter. Don't just assume because you are married they have to give it to you, because they dont. Be specific and clear and don't make readers have to assume what you mean.
Gather as much evidence as you can. An ARC can be almost like another application(in terms of evidence, not necessarily wait times). Mine took 3 months to hear back from the Ghana office.
If some one please help me after 2 years my apeal for spousal sponsorship is accepted now London visa office asking me to submit the ARC in order to overcome the inadmissiblity issues due to deportation on refugee case.where I can download the arc application form I can’t find it on cic web side if you can share the link and if some on can help me write the letter for explanation I appreciate that .
