Please contact the Austrian authority concerned (in Vienna MA 35) to inquire about detailed requirements for your application for residence-permit.
The application alongwith all documents (+ one set of copies) has to be filed personally with the Austrian Embassy Islamabad (for appointment call +92 / 51 / 22 09 710 or 711 or at islamabad-ob@bmeia.gv.at ).
When applying a consulary-fee of € 80,- (for adults) or € 50,- (for minors), respectively, will be applicable at the equivalent of PKR.
The document verification will be conducted by a trusted third party, engaged by the Embassy. The costs for the verification may differ and can be asked for at the Embassy.
As soon as the verification-report is available, the application will be sent to the authority concerned in Austria.
On receipt of a positive decision, the applicant will be given an appointment by the Embassy to apply for an entry-visa.
The document verification usually takes 4-8 weeks (in Pakistan) or 3-4 months (in Afghanistan), respectively.
