For Seniors Only
Hello Senior Guys. I have got my PPR and i have to submit the passports through VFS Global. My Son's passport is expiring in March 2018 (so it was less than 6 months Validity case). I will get the new one in 3 Days from now. I have to inform about this new passport to CIC as well as to NDVO. I will send them an email regarding issue of new passport. Now my question is, Should i wait for their response before i submit the new passport to VFS or should i send both passports(new and old) along without waiting for their response.

Hey
Any update for someone who's AOR is around Aug 20th?
I'm CEC inland, MEP Sep 5th. Since then, I am showing
"We are processing your background check....."
"Additional docs are being reviewed....."

Anyone experiencing the same? Ik it's too early, but just asking.

PPR email just came now! All I can say is wow! 3 weeks from AOR to PPR is beyond our wildest dreams. Honestly thought that something would come up with our application and it would take a long time but it feels so good to finally have the golden email!

Wouldn't have been able to do it without all of the help from this awesome forum. Thanks to each and every person on here who has replied to my messages and fingers crossed that everyone still waiting gets their PPR equally quickly!

:):):D:D
Did you travel a lot ? I am asking because I have travelled a lot and I think that is why they are taking so much time

Did you try to contact them by any chance? I'm kinda worried.

No and there's really no point in doing so in my opinion. the call centre ppl don't know much more than what I can see online. As far as I know the majority of applications take around 3 months. I am really surprised about the timelines I see here.

Those with timelines of about 1 month or less are all FSWO applicants. No one really knows why they are processing them so quickly while CECs take as long as they do. 3 months is still pretty fast but not so much in comparison to FSWO applicants.
