Hi all, a bit late to the party here! AOR on 31st August, MyImmiTracker telling me that on average I ought to get PPR by 5th December. I hope that's accurate - it's a lot sooner than I would be expecting!

My partner and I have already booked flights from London to Toronto departing in March to do our landing if we're successful - may seem a bit premature but there was a great deal on and we got return tickets for only £150 each with Air Canada so we'll just take a holiday if we don't get our visas in time...

Good luck to everyone in this thread! Here's hoping that we all get PPR sooner than expected :)

u should fine by then if all your relevant papers are in order

Generally, your application will follow the below path after the submission.
  1. BG Check: Not Applicable (NA1)
  2. Medical passed – (MEP)
  3. BG Check In Progress (IP1) – R10 check is done here.
  4. BG Check: Not Applicable (NA2) – Eligibility check is done here.
  5. BG Check: In Progress (IP2) –
  6. BG Check: Not Applicable (NA3) – Sometimes this doesn’t come
  7. PPR: Passport Request
  8. CoPR: Confirmation of Permanent Residence
So it is in below order

AOR – NA1 – MEP – IP1 – NA2 – IP2 – NA3 – PPR – CoPR

AOR: This is a letter you will get within 24 hours after submission of your PR application.

NA1: “Not applicable“. This will be your BG status message as soon as you submit and get AOR. Typically, this will be status till the time you get your medical passed status.

MEP: “You passed the medical exam“. This will generally happen after approx 25-30 days after your AOR. For PNP applicants it can take more time generally.

IP1: This will happen one or two days after your medical. Sometimes on the same day itself. BG status message in this stage will be “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”. CIC agents will do R10, criminality checks during this stage. Once they feel everything is good then they will change it to NA. These things will happen at CIO Office (Centralized Intake Office).

NA2: “Not applicable“. This will signify that IP1 is completed. Sometimes IP1 will take few hours and if we have not checked our account during the time it was in IP1, it won’t be possible to know that we are in NA1 or NA2. Our file will be transferred to CPC (Case Processing Center) where agents will do eligibility assessments. If they feel everything is okay, then they will provide their recommendation to Visa Officer and same time they will initiate Security Checks.

IP2: BG status message in this stage will be “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“. Visa Officer starts reviewing or after reviewing all agents recommendations. PPR mail will be triggered if the applicant paid RPRF up front. PPR mails these days are taking 7-20 days after you are in IP2 stage. These things will be done at CPC office.

Generally messages will be like below in IP2 status:

NA3: “Not applicable“. This will signify that IP2 is completed. This status is not visible in many cases and direct PPR request is placed from IP2.

PPR: Passport Request. You will get an email for that and you may not get an update in your CIC account for this.

ADR: Sometimes an additional document is requested in IP1 or IP2 stage. An email, as well as message in your CIC account, will be sent.

I hope anybody can help me...I am stuck in a strange situation. I made payment for my PR on 12th Aug. 2017 but since right after making my payment (which has been deducted from my card), I am unable to access my PR profile. Though I am able to login MyCIC which shows all my Express Entry and PR profile but when I click the button "Continue Application" (which is still visible after making payment for PR) adjacent to my PR Profile, I am landed on an error page. This has been happening till date and it has been 13 working day.

I even reported issue IRCC via their online web form on 13th Aug. 2017 and reported Technical Error but still it is unresolved/ unreponded.

FYI, I have received two email notifications from IRCC of messages in my profile but I can't check any message upon logging in; possibly due to unability to access profile.

Has anybody faced similar issue? Please do respond as I am getting very concerned.
Hello everyone,

Can anyone please guide me? I am stuck in this very bad situation. Submitted my PR application but it seems to be stuck somewhere due to system glitch. I can see may PR profile in the list but can't access it. "CONTINUE APPLICATION" button (next to PR Profile list) is still visible after making payment and when I click on it, I am landed on an error page. This has been happening since 12th Aug. (right after making payment). I am also unable to check any of the message sent by IRCC (3 messages in total so far).

Have reported the issue several times in last 20 days to IRCC via web form (as m an international applicant) but not reasonable response/ resolution. PLEASE HELP!!!

hi all,

I applied under express entry on 10th August 2017 and received my application number at same time.

but since then there is no update on my file and even on medical tab it is showing that " medical is not required"

I am just wondering we could discuss the timelines or by when can we expect our passport requests, it will ease me a bit and will be out of worry that i am not alone .

looking forward for your contribution.

Thank you

Hi,

My document status changed to:
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
BG Status : NA - This was previously "your BG check in prog..." (IP2 message, but as per me it was IP1). I heard this is the case when we have Canadian experience. I am FSWO.

So I am still at NA2 right?

When status changes to "We do not need additional documents" - does it mean file is transferred to LVO?
