Im so excited to share to all of you. At long last,

timeline:
8 Aug. - Document sent to AUH Canadian Embassy
29Sept - sent email enquiry
10Oct - sent email enquiry
22 Oct (10:00 am) - Passport request


I'll keep you posted once it is stamped on my passport.

Yes i understand your feeling when someone is getting a positive result, It makes me so nervious & tense that i would be the next.

I got the email at 10 am, they are only accepting passports till 10:30, eh im from dubai pa.

I would love to go tomorrow but Embassy is closed to public during Tuesday.

I'll make sure to go there on Wed. coz Thursday is long weekend na.

I'll be working as FCA in Sask.

Im pretty sure, you, anne & abubaker are the next in line. Keep praying and be patience as always.

yeah i see.. dubai is 2hrs travel to abu dhabi am also bound to sask once i got my luck on visa hope to see you there soon atleast i will be havin a 1st friend over there hehehe

Congrats Annab!!! I told u right!!! Way to go,,, i hope we'll see each other there! Goodluck to all of us. Take the first bus to abu dhabi, there might be traffic, when i went there i almost didn't reach on time... I'm sure everyone will have there visas very very soon... keep on praying guys! cheers!

My application received by embassy in Abu Dhabi on September 6, 2012 including original passport, security clearance and all required documents.
Today October 22, 2012 I checked Aramex shipment tracking and looks like the embassy sent my passport today. I should receive it tomorrow.
I am very worried about this because it is short time than expected (arround 1 month and 16 days). Also, they did not ask me to do any medical exam. I am from Yemen.
So, do you think they rejected my application? any experience please share. I am really sad.
I hope my bad feeling is not true.

Hi Guys,

Hope you can help me with my situation.

I recently got my visa stamped in my old passport. But before I sent my application along with my passport, I have already applied for a new passport. As soon as I got my passport back from the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, I also collected my new passport.

However, my visa is stamped in my OLD passport and the Philippine Consulate in Dubai punched my old passport (without punching my UAE Residence visa and Canadian visa pages). Hope you can help me with my situation.

it will not harm you as long as lod passport and new passport attached together.. old passport number is incorporated with visa number..
nothing to worry about..
