This news was from Jan 2025I believe what we’re seeing here is an impact of reduction in the IRCC workforce having a direct impact on processing timelines. https://ici.radio-canada.ca/rci/en/...tment-cutting-roughly-3-300-jobs-over-3-years
Yes, it outlines a 3-year plan and we’re already approaching the halfway mark on that timeline. Which could mean that half of the planned cuts have internally been affected. Citizenship grants being the least priority for them, it makes sense that the impact is more palpable on our timelines as opposed to (say) family reunification applications which might be getting prioritized instead. This news was from Jan 2025
I guess the agent who was working on my application got sent to gulag. No citizenship for mecurious do you have any update?
Same thing on my application. Except the interview is ready for MS teams instead of in person. Same office, same timelines… no progress after the test whatsoeverI ordered the GCMS notes due to no updates since Jan 31 for Citizenship Test. LPP has not started and the due date for all is Oct 2026 for each of them. In the Location Field it says Location: Grant Interview Ready In-Person. Under assignment, it is all blanks. Notes has no updates post the Citizenship test updates. anybody has any idea what this mean? Again the Primary office is Vancouver, Secondary is Sydney.
Not sure how long should we wait for this now. My PR is expiring in September, should i renew them is what i am thinking.Same thing on my application. Except the interview is ready for MS teams instead of in person. Same office, same timelines… no progress after the test whatsoever
Same as mine too, where do you stand?I just received the notes! Page 3 of the notes starts with the title "Paper File" followed by the Office and Location: Grant Interview Ready In-Person.
Does this mean I'll be asked for an interview? That's probably why my application processing has been taking so long
What does Paper File mean? I had applied online.
Unless you are planning to travel otherwise it’s up to youNot sure how long should we wait for this now. My PR is expiring in September, should i renew them is what i am thinking.
Nowhere at allSame as mine too, where do you stand?
i should be expecting more waiting of 4-6 monthsNowhere at allour GCMS notes are pretty much the same, except my LPP due dates are September 2026. I called IRCC about two weeks ago, and the agent said the LPP hasn’t started yet. I don’t think I’ll be getting any updates anytime soon.
Mine says "location - e-grants inventory ". Do you know what does that mean?I ordered the GCMS notes due to no updates since Jan 31 for Citizenship Test.
