Just noticed an update in the tracker - yeah, the oath is finally scheduled for the 18th of March.
However, I haven’t received any email yet, which feels... odd. So I’m not sure whether it’s supposed to be online or in person.

Has anyone else had their oath appear in the tracker without receiving a corresponding email?

No, they only send you an email 1-2 weeks before the date, so that is quite expected.

Hm... But tons of people receive emails before they even see the update in the tracker...
No, it wasn't the case for me and people around me.

So I guess yes, it's possible. But if they do not do that, then they will do it 1-2 weeks before the oath date, no need to freak out now.

Congratulations to my twin AOR!
In the end, we are even close on the oath date (given that I rescheduled my initial oath date which was on Feb 6 hehe!)

Hi everyone, I finally received my oath invitation for Canadian citizenship and it’s scheduled in person on March 24th. I’m really happy, but I urgently need to be in the U.S. by March 30th. Is there any way to move the ceremony to an earlier date, either in person or virtual? Has anyone managed to reschedule to an earlier date because of travel? Would it be better to call IRCC or send a webform request? Thanks so much for any advice.

Hi everyone,

I applied for citizenship on August 1st week 2025 and received AOR on October 1st week 2025. Since then I have not received a test invite yet.

I ordered GCMS notes and saw that my file was referred to PS-RES (Program Support – Residence review) on December 10, 2025 for additional review of physical presence. My background check is completed, but language and physical presence are still in progress and test is not started.

It has been about 4 months since AOR and around 2+ months since PS-RES referral, and I am starting to get worried because I see many applicants with later AOR dates already receiving test invites.

Did anyone else have PS-RES referral and later receive a test invite?
How long did it take after PS-RES review?

Any similar timelines would be really helpful. Thank you.

If they give the Certificate on the same day, you can apply for urgent passport which will take 1-2 days, and hopefully you can make it.

Hi,
I have almost same timeline. Ordered GCMS noted and most of the stuff i see says "Not started". My background was passed in october and since then i am waiting for test invite. Criminality is passed as well.

I received my GCMS from CBSA today, which shows my file is “Grant review ready PM03” with Vancouver Office. Anyone has any idea of what this is? Test complete on 1/12, background complete on 10/10. Being in the PM03 status since 1/12. How soon can I expect LPP complete? Is Apr / May realistic? I have travel plans in July.
