Same here, my oath date is Dec. 4 as well! Not sure if it's in-person or virtual – waiting for the instructions & email.

I'm travelling out of Canada for my best friend's wedding during Christmas. Considering the Mississauga office is infamously slow, I may reschedule it for after my trip - don't wanna risk and stress for anything. Anyway, it's almost come to an end!

Mississauga office is generally quick. I received my oath invite email the same morning I saw tracker update.
Ours was in person but most ceremonies are still on line.

The link is not updated for December yet but you can see details of upcoming in person ceremonies here.

Ohh wow that was really quick but again i am assuming it was quick because you had in person as most of the ones with Virtual are getting a week or 3-4 days prior to the date…
And ya i checked this site but as you said December dates are not updated

Sorry did you get any updates on your tracker regarding your background check? I see it says set to complete. What it actually completed and when did you get the update on tracker ? Sorry trying to gauge how long it actually takes. Thanks

Hey, No it doesn't show when exactly it was completed. It was just set to complete when I opened on nov 7th.

With that being said, I think when I got Ghost update on Oct 27th, that's when it must've been done but thats just my guess.

Even i got one on tracker but i guess we need to wait until Monday as mostly all are getting before a week of actual oath

LPP was completed on NOV 2 for me. Anyways congratulation and wait for the email.

Congrats on the oath! Just wanted to ask: the only email needed for you to attend the ceremony is just the Notice To Appear email right? I suppose the e-certificate download instruction email isn’t necessary, is that the case? Dows the e-certificate download instructions contain anything specific to applicants or it is just standard?

Portal email has candidate specific invitation code in the attachment that you have to put and that allows you to create an account to login and download e-certificate.
It also has basic instructions about how to download e-certificate.
