Haha that’s true. But until you see an update in your account it’s always a waiting game everyday. I was surprised that mine was done quick.
My office is Vancouver, maybe they’re quick in processing or lesser applications compared to Scarborough.

Thanks for this, at least this alleviates the concern that I might have messed up our application, and that there are others in same situation
 
I totally get it, especially when you see people who have applied significantly later getting their apps approved and already having their oath ceremonies, and you're stuck waiting, it can be a concern.

But at least all of us being in the same situation gives us perspective. It's not what we wanted, but we should be next up soon. I think we'll all hopefully get it before the end of Feb.

That's one of the best parts of becoming a citizen lol.

It's crazy to me that a particular office has such a big backlog compared to others, it's completely inequitable and unfair we have to wait while others have everything done, when we applied before them.

I'm trying to be patient, but it gets annoying. If we're all waiting for a while across all offices, that's fair enough. But we're being penalized because we had the misfortune to be assigned an overloaded office, that really sucks and uniformity should be a key aspect of their deliverables for the ministry.

Anyone with oath ceremony on 31st jan 2024?
 
Oath is scheduled for January 11, I'm just waiting for the invite.

I have to leave the country on January 26, so fingers crossed that the e-cert doesn't take too long to come in!

That is what we hope for, even hoping for sooner than feb
