I am reaching out regarding my citizenship application, which has all steps in complete status except oath ceremony which is not started since over a month, last update was on June 13th to complete language and residency requirements. I've already appeared for citizenship test back in March.

I would like request if my oath ceremony can be scheduled sooner than later this is because I work cross border and my current US visa is about to expire and if I apply for visa renewal now, it'd get printed in my current Indian passport which I'll have to surrender immediately upon becoming Canadian citizen so it would be a futile exercise and it impacts my ability to do my job / my job continuity because I have to travel to Detroit, Michigan USA for work.

Kindly request you to notify my case processing officer to consider my request for scheduling my oath ceremony as soon as reasonably feasible.

As I'm about to become a citizen, this will likely be my last request to your amazing team for assistance regarding an immigration matter. Thank you for all the support you have provided so far, starting from my PR application back in 2014 to now becoming a citizen, appreciate all the help truly.

I received updates 3 days ago, and status changes to complete for background verification and LPP all together. Just waiting for citizenship ceremony! Don’t know the processing office

Application files- August 15, 2022
Physical presence- Over 3 years
BGC complete - December 13, 2022
Citizenship Test request- March 10, 2023
Citizenship Test Complete- March 20, 2023
All checks complete: June 10, 2023
Citizenship Oath update: July 26, 2023
Citizenship Oath scheduled for August 17, 2023

Now as you see last update was on July 26 but i still have not received the Invitation for Oath Ceremony in my email. How long does it take for teh invitation to come after the final update?

My oath is also on August 17. The tracker says we should get an email with the invitation and all the details up to 6 calendar days before this date. My partner's ceremony last year was at 10.15am. I'm curious to know what time mine will be.

As they mentioned in the tracker you need to wait until 6 days before the oath if you didn’t receive it call them, usually they send it one week before the oath

For me it was six months, BG completed mid of July

Still waiting for LPP here. No movement since Test Completed on Jan 3, 2023... Very frustrating!

Same here for my spouse. She did the test on Jan 03 and test passed Jan 10. No updates afterward. LPP in progress, ceremony not started.
