Can someone confirm for the test, if it is expected to know for Out of Home province government? Like if someone lives is BC, is he expected to know about other provincial govt? Questions like which party in Power, Premier, Mayor etc.

The owner of the spreadsheet (@CaCitizenship ) sort the spreadsheet from time to time so that the furthest application is at the top. However, they made a mistake from the last sort and the dates are out of order. I have corrected your though but everyone should check to confirm their details are still correct.

Only Test Completed, Everything Else “In Progress”

Hi. I found couple of threads related to this but no substantial updates there, so asking the question here.
How normal is to have only the test invite (and passed) with ALL of the other things still “In Progress” including background check?
I have my Test Completed dated 12th April and all other statuses are In Progress (except Citizenship Ceremony - Not Started).
This is normal.
If you are an online applicant then the next update will be a BG complete. A few months later the other statuses will change to completed and you will get your oath letter.

So I got a response back from Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) that a third party like IRCC cannot request background check for me. IRCC must have used central/federal agencies. I will try to get with RCMP/ CBSA to see if they received anything.

I guess I am the only one whose background check is still in progress / no update since application
How come you contact Durham Police? Isn't the digital fingerprint request with RCMP for IRCC. That's my understanding.

got my test invite. I have finished the book once. Can anyone tell me how helpful Apnatoronto was? those of you who already passed the test.
Read the book well. It looks like a lot but it’s not. If you have read the book n just practice the mock test once to get an understanding and you’ll be perfectly fine. I read the chapters twice n gave the test and my results were 20/20.

If you have used the Discover Canada book, you will notice there is a fill-in-the-blanks page with the details of your Federal Govt, Provincial Govt and Municipal Govt. It's specific to your location. Just learn that. I don't think the test will ask specific provincial govt questions.
