Long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks for all the info so far, so I wanted to share my timeline to try help some of you.

Finally got my Decision Made status today.
Passed my test 6 months ago today, waiting 18 months in total. Recently renew my PR card just in case too.

For my case, DM to Oath is around 25 days. Hope you will receive the oath before travelling

i dont't think so. if they schedule the oath while you're outside of Canada, you can ask them to reschedule it, as long as you provide them with a valid reason.

not being in the country is reason valid enough.

finally after 18 months of wait, i see the tracker is updated to take oath on 1st week of March.
However they have not sent any email on instructions of how to join the oath ceremony. How long will it take for them to send instructions ? Will it be sent by email or physical letter in the mailbox ?

the email should be in soon, you have plenty of time so don’t be worried even until Feb 22nd or so.
It will be an email and they will have the instructions laid down on it.

2 pieces of ID, on time, and the form should be ready (if printed and physical signature is the plan), if not then electronic signatures are also an option.

keep the Zoom app installed or website running on time.
