Hello Guys ,

I was asked to send the scanned copies of my passport pages via email . I sent them the-requested information 2 weeks ago . Called agent yesterday , he said they have not received it yet .

A few of us had this issue.

Send them a Webform with the files, explaining this and you should get a response that the files will be added to your profile.

Can the CIC ask for Passport Copies after Decision Made?
I mean they can ask for anything at any stage of the application processing, but once you have completed the physical presence and all else, it isn’t really expected.

But yes, we got that this morning for the wife.
So take scanned copies / pictures of all the pages, keep it all below 5 mb (can it be a zip file?), and send it to the same email, is that right?

Have you received any acknowledgement or update after emailing them the passport copies?
I emailed them mid July for two of my family members ...nothing for me yet.

Yes,

I got a response back that they received my passport copies via webform, and that they would be attached to my application. Unfortunately, no movement after that.

Test completed on the 12th and ECAS updated on 13th showing the test has been completed. Still got prohibitions, language and residency in progress.

How long is it taking most people to go from test complete to DM?

45-50 days and it should turn to DM unless they ask for some additional documents.

Hello Guys,

I have completed my Oath on Sept 08, 2021 and my Application is approved and closed now in Online Tracker. However, Today morning I received a request to email to send Passport copy. Does anyone has same issue? I don't understand why CIC needs my Passport Copy after becoming Canadian Citizen.

We are so frustrated about the delay happening in the Calgary office. Someone has to look into this.
