@legalfalcon . Hi, I have a similar question . AOR August 24th, 2020 . When I filled my application my dependent/spouse was outland. Since January 2021 she came to Canada on a study permit. However, forgot to update the address since then. All stages passed as of 29th April ( from the call center agent) . On May 9th got a ghost update even after all stages passed and called IRCC; came to know that an officer put a note like spouse overseas in the file. Since then , no GU or never got an update from IRCC. On, 9th of May updated address with IRCC via phone call and raised a webform with study permit, flight ticket and passport pages with visa pages and stamps ( of dependant). Do I need to do something else to get the attention of officer or further processing of application ? Thank youThere is no difference under the immigration law between inland and outland. The only difference is how the COPR / PR visa is issued.
Since all your family members are in Canada now, they won't need a PR visa and a COPR can be issued straight away. If you have updated their address, you do not have to do anything else. Just wait for a decision.
