Your application is locked when you submit it, so all documents have to be valid as on the day of submission. If any document expires post AoR, it does not matter.

Only in some cases IRCC may ask for a new PCC, but you have to provide one only after IRCC asks.
Does this apply for police certificate as well?
I'm from Dubai and the police certificate issued is only valid for 3 months.

Hello Everyone,

I am applying for PR under the FSW Outland program.

My Timeline is as below:
Invitation : August 05, 2020

No update after the above. My application is in Kenya office. I am not sure when they will look at my application. Its truly frustrating.

Thanks,

I have received the Request (RFV) letter for Dependents (spouse) on October 7, 2021, which states Passports for dependent(s) should only be submitted after you, the primary applicant has received the confirmation of permanent residence status" and I am still waiting for my eCoPR.

Currently, I have also received Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal access and confirmed the In-Canada declaration and uploaded documents required on Oct 25, 2021, and waiting for my eCoPR.

Any insight on this is greatly appreciated.

Do I need to wait until I receive my eCOPR or can I request my spouse to send her passport to the visa office to obtain her travel visa and documentation now?

Request(RFV) letter- October 7, 2021
Portal email- Oct 6, 2021
Portal Credentials- Oct 25, 2021
Photo and address- submitted Oct 25, 2021
COPR- WAITING

Seems like they expect you to wait on the confirmation. Ircc is very straightforward....most times.
