August 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

This is frustrating people we have applied in 2020 and 2021 which is after us got oath invitation and citizenships .
I would suggest you to please call them and provide all of your information to their agent before you will have final notice of submission of finger prints .

I have called them multiple times and every time I was told that they have all the necessary information/documents. Not sure what to do but I guess just have to wait.

Got my Oath Invite email yesterday - after 2 years and 3 months of waiting. And it's in 4 days' time! Timeline as follows:

Application sent: Aug 19, 2019
Processing Office - Toronto
Application Delivered: Aug 21, 2019
AOR: Nov 7, 2019
In Process: Nov 28, 2019
Test invite: March 25, 2021
Test date: April 18, 2021, passed
Decision Made: Yes
Oath Invite Email: November 9, 2021
Oath Ceremony: November 15, 2021
Certificate Received:

I had called them before and the IRCC agent only said they have everything I need.
Would it be faster if I withdraw my application, and re-apply immediately?

No man dont withdraw unless you're sure about something like you dont meet physical presence . Withdrawal can take months . I'm still waiting for withdrawal.

They have been processing the applications but its totally random, the dates mean nothing. It says they processing 2019 but these few months lots of 2020 getting oath not 2019.

Well, I live in Etobicoke so I assume it’s the Toronto office? Although, the address at the bottom of the invite letter was a Mississauga IRCC address. So, that must mean my processing office is Mississauga?

Hi Admin, a quick update for our sheet.

We received our ceremony invitation on October 30 and completed our oath of allegiance today. Our journey is almost complete. Just waiting for the certificate in the mail. Good luck to everyone still waiting for their invitations!
