Hello Friends,

I applied for spouse visa in august. My timeline is as follows:

1. AR: Aug 16, 2018
2. AOR: Oct 26, 2018
3. SA: Oct 29, 2018
4. MR: Oct 30, 2018
5. Medical done Nov 1, 2018
6. Medical approved: Nov 15, 2018
7. BGC: Jan 15, 2018
PA : India

I was able to login and link my application in November. I haven't received file transfer mail BGC is in process. The file is being processed in Canada itself. Any of you had the same experience? I am not sure how long PCC will take if file is being processed In Canada itself

I am also with similar timelines. No transfer email to NDVO as well. How do you know if file is being processed in Canada? Did you call them?
I think even if there is no transfer email , there is chance CIC need answers from NDVO. Let us keep us updated.

Yes we called cic. They told in some cases if they think file can be processed in Canada they will do it instead of transferring the file. We got married outside our home country- destination wedding so the wedding certificate is of a different country however we have updated spouse name on my passport. That may be the reason they are processing in Canada. I have not received any mail regarding file transfer not even for BGC update. However cic gckey login gave the status info:

Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I login everyday to check the status. This immigration process is testing our patience.

I dont have access to GCKEY , bcoz i have representative. But on automated call , it indicates BGC has not yet started. I also called up CIC last week and they informed that file still is in Canada. Is it your file in Sydney or Missisauga office?

Normally once you have SA approval , in same email it is mentioned where PA file will be processed initially. However in between if they feel to transfer file to VO, they can do at any point of time. Even i asked them if my file is in Sydney or Missisauga but they only mentioned file is in Canada.

I have similar timeline too. My rep said our file is transferred but we did not get any email. I hope it’s being processed and does t take too long

Its 3.5 months now and no response at all. I heard time period has increased now which used to be 2 months before

Yes. It is written there that I have passed the medical and my BGC is in progress.
