Bio metric for Visitors Visa will not be considered for PR. Bio metrics will have to be provided again.

I am the PA from Bangladesh, which is in Asia. I have received the biometric (payment receipt) request through an email, a month after submitting my application to Sydney.
Here’s my timeline:

Application recieved in Sydney: 7th August.
Biometric (payment receipt) request: 7th September.
Biometric payment receipt submitted: 25th September.
Biometric (payment receipt) received confirmation: 29th September.

No response after that. Still waiting for AOR. Are there still any possibilities for my application to b returned or something? I don’t mind waiting, even though it’s hard. I just don’t want my application to get returned and this complete waste of past few months.

Just to confirm - what was the confirmation you received? I had to do the same for bio-metric payments, submitted receipt via web-form, following which got an acknowledgement from IRCC stating that the documents have been received (via an email). Still, couple of weeks later, in comes an email directly from an IRCC agent to my mailbox stating that the receipt submitted via the web-form was 'not found'. Had to resend the receipt via email. No word since.

That is what i thought. My PA is from Vietnam and the application was submitted in the 1st week of August. Still got a req from IRCC after 2 months to make the bio-metric payment and submit receipt via webform. Not sure what the disconnect is here.

That's a good question. You should try asking an IRCC agent to confirm. My PA is not required to do biometrics, so I haven't really looked into the details.

I dont see the point. Have already paid for Biometrics, submitted and resubmitted.

My reciept was submitted by our lawyer.
Few days after submitting our receipt to our lawyer, they forwarded us an email from IRCC, and that was the confirmation.

We are pleased to confirm the reception of the following document:

• RXXXXXXXXX Biometric fee payment.pdf

We have forwarded it and the information you provided to the responsible office for their consideration.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

^That’s the email that we have received from IRCC.

Please let me know if you had the same response from them. I am very tensed now.
