I received a call from NVDO India. They asked how i met my husband, where we got married she asked a couple of more questions. We got married in St Lucia they asked if we arranged a reception in India as mentioned in application. We cancelled a reception and planned Europe and Egypt trip instead. I told her truth. She asked me if I have the picture of family gathering and Europe trip pictures. She gave an email id where to forward the documents to. I am confused if that was an interview or a normal call to get more details. Has anyone received a call like this before?

My timeline is as follows:

BGC in process 14-01-2019
AOR2: 30-01-2019

It sounds like an interview and an additional documents request.
Did you have a big wedding? Was it an arranged marriage? How long have you known each other for?

Update: Just received interview convocation letter with interview date for March 12. VO stating that we may not meet the requirements as per paragraph 4 (I am assuming they want to make sure it is genuine). VO asking for more pictures, chat history, marriage contract, and money transfer history. Anyone have tips for interview questions?

This definitely happens sometimes (who knows why -- it seems fairly random). If you're worried and want to be sure of where/when it was transferred, you can contact either the VO you suspect it was sent to or IRCC and they can tell you.

I got decision made too on monday ... may be it will take a week or so to get everything (copr) done

Absolutely. This happened to us. Not every vo sends the transferred email

I don't think there's any preferences for nationalities, maybe some cases are just more straightforward than others. As far as I know, we are all in the same boat of waiting an insane long time...

on my immi tracker i saw an applicant from UK whose file got transferred to london visa office on 1st feb and on 4th feb his backgound check started !
