I received this message 3 days after submitting biometrics and I assume that it does have a meaning, because I have searched the forum and found many people who received ppr after this message, in a period ranging from 1 day to 2 months. For me it took 3 weeks to receive ppr. However, it's just an assumption.

I really dont think it means anything. I received that letter after ITA, sometime in June.

They did read my claim, and responded to my CSE (that contained proof that I'd completed biometrics), and said that they were forwarding to the relevant department. They also responded to my technical issue glitch saying that it's an ongoing issue and they are looking to resolve it as soon as possible. Hope that helps calm your nerves

I also provided proof of biometrics enrollment. I'm quite calm about the situation, because I am not alone having such issue, but at the same time want to see the update of biometrics status.

What do you think, if I want to take a trip abroad for two weeks while CIC is processing my PR application, what should I do? Inform them about my trip by updating "Your travels" form? And can this effect the timeline of processing? I mean, will it take longer for them to make a decision, because they will see changes in my background.

You don't have to inform them of your trips after submitting your application. Only those prior to AOR. No effect.

It’s very easy to reach an agent. I’ve called them twice. Do people have issues on this?

I really wouldn’t even look too much into this IP1 and IP2. I had my PPR on the 3rd of October and mine showed as “processing” not progress”. It still hasn’t changed either.

I called and ended up being told that they are too busy to take a call and I should hang up and call back later. Then they gave me a cold treatment (sarcasm intended) and disconnected the call. Not able to speak to an agent

ya they are capable of doing that. I got a nice polite agent though she said the same things as on my cic status but she did add that my VO is Ottawa
