Congrats on your SA! I just checked my husbands email after reading your post, still no email for SA.. Ecas still in process. I Guess i have to wait till next week, website is processing app received aug 26, ours was 27..

No. My application arrived the same day as yours and I got no Sponsorship Approval yet.... I called CIC and I got not useful response.

We called the CIC last week and they told us that we are in the process. They asked for the name and you say in the process. We did not get anything by mail. I do not know what's going on, and why it is so slow.

Received AOR2 by post and not by email. I wander why i didnot received by email , though i provided my email address in the application submitted .
Moreover was able to login with the new UCI issued.

No. I was at Starbucks and talking to a guy, who will remain nameless, and he was told by Ottawa he needed a state police report also on top of the FBI report.

Don't panic - a lot of people offer their own opinions but all that matters is what CIC requests. If it's not on the checklist, they shouldn't ask for it. Good luck!

Hoping someone can clarify the following for me.

I recently received my SA (October 30) and on ECAS on the PA side it switched from Application Received to in-process but no additional line.
When you click on the link for additional details. It says (L1) Application Received Sept 30, 2015 . (L2) Medicals Received.

As well I did not receive a AOR2. Does that make sense? Or am I missing something in this process.

Many VO's do not send an AOR2. At some point, under PA it will say, "We started processing <name> application on <date>". You can consider that your AOR2 if you like.

We did not received AOR2 but we have 3rd line on PA side saying "We started processing of your application on October 30, 2015"

Also make sure to check the applicant's email, not the sponsor. They are the ones that get the AOR2 email.

When we would be able to check the status of interview required or waived off? Since i didnor received AOR2 in email , woul i be required to order notes after every 2 months to know the status of my application? Please advice .
