Couriers normally will not deliver to a P.O box. I hope they will make an exception for you.
Postal codes in Canada are part of our address system regardless if it is a P.O box or a street address.
Well, let me wait till Wednesday as they told me. Actually the courier service through which I sent the package has operations in Europe and in North America via third party service. I guess in Canada they deliver either via courier or Canada Post. I am saying this because once we sent a package to our elder brother in Connecticut, USA via this same courier and over there he received it via US postal service.

I will take a guess and say you are using an EMS affiliated courier. Will not be any problem with them as they come in through the Canadian Postal service

we sent in our application to cic and it was received august 15, no notification yet. I hope they don't request new forms or I wont be a happy guy. I think its ridiculous to request new forms from applicants that sent there paper work in right around the time of the change in forms. I understand the complexity of processing applications , but they make it far more difficult on couple's then it needs to be. I hope my papers move forward without being notified... good luck to everyone who has paper work in process

Keep your fingers crossed that it sneaks through, We had the same worry just before ours was sent in there was a form change and we sent the application in anyway ,PCC was about to expire. Luck was on our side, The application was able to process through with out any further update form requests. Its very much possible for it to pass with out any update requests. Just don't count on it, CIC will do what they want.

Question,
Husband got a new job (a better job!) How do I notify CIC? Through email, anyone that can direct me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey yukonjames, I suggest that you fill out the new forms already as well as get the signatures. That way if they request for it, they are good to go. It surely looks like CIC has been requesting for the new forms for most of the August submissions.

Hi may ask if you wrote both of you a written of details of your relationship? Or just only for the principal applicant or the sponsored?

I have the updated forms coming from the agency now just in case, good advise

I had written details of relationship done by both of us separately

I the sponsor wrote a letter detailing as my wife is too busy to sit down and do that sort of thing with the school season in full swing where she is. Hopefully that will be acceptable to the VO

I am praying that the package will get through without any hurdles :)

When I filed the application (August 6, 2014), I was out of work, but got a job in a US based NGO here in Pakistan, (really good one). So, along with the IMM1344 they have requested, I sent them a covering letter describing my job status, copies of offer letter, ToRs, contract and first pay stub.

We both wrote. Infact, I was the author of both the detailed write ups, she only signed on hers. :D :D

Nice, that's great :)

Received my request letter from CIC at 8:25am to send in the August updated IMM1344. Put it in Xpress Post at 8:45am and they should have it first thing tomorrow morning. Spreadsheet updated.

Looks like they are opening packages to begin their review on day 25ish at this pace.

Make sure you send back the IMM1344 to the address listed on the first letter along with a copy of the letter! It has a file number on the top which I assume is used to route your form back to your package.

I have a question for everyone in the August spreadsheet. Did all of you that got the new form request, fill them out well in advance of sending them? Maybe weeks or months before sending your applications off? The reason is because I haven't gotten a request. Now I filled all the forms out in advance but when it came time to print them I couldn0t generate the barcodes so I had to go to Office depot on August 2nd and re-fill them and print them. So maybe they had been updated at that point and I sent the correct forms. So I was just wondering when everyone filled them in. I am hoping all is well but I have read so many horror stories about CIC that I'm wondering if maybe they have misplaced /lost my package or maybe I'm all good.
