I got my application returned today with the following reason:

Sorry to hear that asaglen, CLBA is not there in the CIC acceptable list. One of the many under-guessing we do some times in hurry. Anyway run for one of the following and re-send immediately. By the time your next application is processed, it will be faster like six months or less to complete the whole process. No more long waitings!

We will accept third-party test results as proof of your language ability if it is from one of the following organizations:
CELPIP General (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program General test)
CELPIP General-LS - a two-skills (listening and speaking) version of the CELPIP General test
IELTS - General training - General training (International English Language Testing System)
...
We will not accept third-party test results that are not on this list, even if they are similar.​

My wife submitted her application which was received on 05 August, This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.

Would you mind sharing the e-mail ID which advised the message? I want to make sure that my outlook inbox is not going to treat the potential emails as junk or spam. Hope other do the same as the hard copy mails seems to be taking a back seat now.

Mine package was received on August 6. Does it mean that if I still not received AOR, package on the route back as incomplete? (I assumed this because some people already get processing, while their package was delivered after August 6)

I don't think that they necessarily do them in order so hopefully you are fine.

Too early to make any guesses. It may take a while, for most August applicants to hear from them; may be until last week of November or so...

I think I got CIC's email today. I don't get the regular email.
I got my file number and it also indicate my application is waiting for an agent for processing.

I still cannot believe I got it since my mistake for the proof of language.

Congrats. Mine arrived on the 8th (friday) or 11th (monday). Still no word yet.

I found my transcript only covered 2-3 years of my study after 6 weeks. It's incomplete.
I emailed the special case inquiry to ask them if I can email them my degree certificate.
I got two emails from them. One said yes and I need to give them my tracking number to locate my file.
The second email said no. My file will be returned as incomplete application. I was confused.

I did what the first email asked for.
Today, they emailed me and told me the document(degree certificate) is with my file with file number.

Thanks for the details. Looks like your originally missing document helped trigger an earlier update on your application - that was your reward after getting the stress I suppose Hopefully next email tells you about test date. Good luck.
