hello everyone, i got my sponsorship approval today. please update tracking sheet. received email with PDF approval letter.
the delay was due to the fact that one of the form was incomplete and the whole package was returned on sept 24, i resubmitted the forms on Oct 4th.
the file is now transferred to New Delhi VO

Hi everyone,

I tried logging on to ECAS and checking my status this morning. When I put my wife's information down (she's the sponsor) it takes me to a screen that says: "If you want to see details on an application, click on the underlined status"

From there the only option that I see is a box to be checked that says: "Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application and address information on this website". I don't see any underlined status that the first statement was talking about.

I don't want to check that option because we would like the keep the ability to check on our status online.

Is this because we are still in the process of getting onto the system since we just got our AOR? Please advise, thanks.

Hi everyone.I just received now an email for sponsor approval and they inform me that they forward the file to CEM.. Since I reside in Quebec I have to submit now to MICC the Undertaking...Praise the Lord..Thank God for these good news..

You're correct, a few other people had this error while they were still being put into the system. Whatever you do don't click anything, or you'll lose your ability to check stuff online. Just wait it out a few days and it should correct itself. =)

Hi everyone..I have some concerns about the undertaking application for quebec,because in the application form there is a question about the child.from previous union of the sponsor,in our situation my wife has a child from previous relationship,the child is already a permanent resident,they did not get married and they got separated even the child wa born.My question was,what will my wife check for the question:
1. I am a father/mother of children from previous union,will it be yes or no?

Because from what I know union is like being married,and since she did not get married from her previous relationship does it apply to her?
I hope someone will give some insights with my concern.
