Wow I can't believe how many august people already receiver their approval!
They received our file on august 24th...if I see the spread sheet you would think ours will be next...but you'll see it will take another 30 days or so.

My information and my husband's is now in ecas! I checked ecas using his UCI (we got it from a previous TRV) and his information. It just says application received. I'm not sure if that means that they are now issuing the sponsor approval or if we're just one step closer.

** I just tried my UCI# and info (as the sponsor) and it is working too.

can ny1 plz teme that is the application num n file num the same?i,have,installed the s/w in my android ph... it has the tracking system. but it asks for the file num. when I put my application num it dun works. its not even exceptin UCI.

I guess file num is diff... I have only receivd AOR... I guess I will get the file num when my file will reach to the visa office of my country.... is it the case?????

When did u receive AOR? I got mine on Saturday morning, and now not until this morning did Ecas register my husband's application. I think it takes a day or 2.

dun worry at all.... in a week time you will hear from them that they have excepted your spouse as your sponsor .... when, on the website, i tracked my case, they had also mentioned that they have received my medical reports as well.... so expecting the same for you fingers crossed... Good Luck

well i can track my case through my laptop by using my UCI and Application number. But the android software asks for the file number. and i guess file number is diff from UCI and Application Num..... dun knw at which stage one gets the file num..... i received my AOR on 20th of Sep and on 25th, i was notified that my hubby has been excepted as my sponsor....

Check your AOR. Our file number is on the AOR. I have my husband's UCI# from his past TRV, however, on the AOR from Mississauga was my UCI# (sponsor), and the application number. The application number begins with an F.

Yes, i have received UCI and Application Number. you are right, as it start with "F" so it must be file number, but i dun knw why android s/w is not excepting it....

anyways will track my case through laptop ... simple solution... lolzz

plz update the spreadsheet...... i received sponsorship approval on 25th of September....

Just wanted to post a little encouragement for those that haven't received sponsor approval yet.....

While it does appear that you've been missed, keep in mind that the entire process is based on your application received date. I've scoured this forum for statistical analysis, and what I've come up with is the vast majority of visa offices base their processing on this date...so for example, my application in e-cas says application date of Aug. 15, and not when VO received the file.

So those that are anticipated their sponsor approval for Aug, 13, and 10, your application will reflect that, and the VO will process accordingly.

Mind you that doesn't help my situation because of my original application return with no file or UCI number, I'm pretty sure it will help those waiting for approval.

So hang in there, it will come, time will pass and you'll be together again.

I am just so concerned about why those 2 days appear to be missing... like did someone important go on vacation for a long weekend (Fri the 10th to Mon the 13th) and the packages delivered during those days got chucked into a bin somewhere, never to be seen again? sigh. It just seemed that the order of AOR/approvals went almost in perfect order and then jumped us and kept going in order... like we did not even exist.. I cannot for the life of me imagine why (I could get if an entire half month was gone because maybe a different office was working on one half of the month or something). BUT why just 2 days... it is VERY strange. It's not like they sent 2 days only away to some other office.
