Did you try to enter your client id on automated response before you got actual approval??
 
No i didnt, i didnt have a client id number.
I had to wait till i got my uci and application number when i got my approval in my email.
Keep calling :)
 
My wife just called the call centre, well we know its still at 8th August, but why not give it a shot. The agent said our application was received on 12 August (what a relief!!!) and they haven't reached to us yet. So I guess we will have to wait a couple more days.

Keep on trying kuku.
 
Hello everyone,

I got through to the call centre and the lady said my application was still in process. She gave me a number to register online and when I did, they said a decision was made which she did not tell me and a letter was sent out October 17th.

Because she did not tell me on the phone does this mean we are rejected? I know other people were told on the phone.

I am really worried. Any thoughts?? Has anyone else had this experience?
 
I just got to speak with the cic agent.. They gave me the same information that my application was received on aug 11 but he does not have any more information as they are still working on aug 8! ( what a lie)
 
Im guessing cause the website says they are still working on the 8th then they cant give any info out. Which i can see there point but it still sucks.
Fingers crossed it changes wed/thurs and you can try again friday :)

2-3 weeks before, I received my approval - I tried many times to log into on ecas(with UCI, Date of Birth, Birth place, last name) - no result, can't find me on their database.

After I received my approval- a week later I can logged into my ecas.

On the weekend, I have analysed the data from Statistics Canada - you can download an excel sheet for Immigration from July 2010-July 2011.
It could be true that immigration is still working on Aug 8-9; due the volume they had received each day...also on this forum, the excel that "essex" had done - there are already 30 applicants. If you assumed the real number should be 3x or 5x more than then Immigration Canada is still on Aug 8-10...
also, take into account that not every one post their data on this forum and some are not even aware of this website.

eg for the past 12 mths July 2010-2011; London Office had processed around 1450 Spousal Visa Only - that is each month they have around 120 applications and each day is between 3-4 applications. But when you count the applications for the exact time frame from "Pinklady" lists....it is much less.

yeah....ecas does not show anything., but when I called cic and entered my client Id on automated response, it said me that my application was received on aug 11...no more update .. I dnt know what wud have been the Automated response, had I called them earlier..

Yes I agree that call center agent is not wrong in his way...but As we know applicant who applied on Aug 10 has already got approval last week and CIC web site is always 2-3 days behind the actual processing dates...So I was just trying to get information if they have started working on my application.. I knew I was not going to get any different answer from the Call center agent still....

Anyways I think that I will have to wait until this week's update now !!! >:( ???

We started processing your application on October 20, 2011.

We sent you a letter on October 20, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


Now I dont know whether it is a positive or negative... I hope the application has been approved!!!

Is it worth calling CIC now to know whether it is approved or not ????

Unless you selected to proceed with the application if sponsorship was denied, you are most definitely approved and the VO has the application!! Congrats!! And medical results received already, sweet!
