Congrats kuku that's great news.
If it's ok with you i'll wait till you get your official letter or email before updating the sheet.
With your medicals being revieved already means it's at your VO i think.
Well that's what i was told lol.
Lets hope people start getting there emails and letters tomorrow :)

I selected "not to proceed" if sponsorship rejected...So I believe its a good news...

The worst part of it is-- I called CIC today morning and and they said they have no information about my application except the received date and asked me to call back after 2 weeks if I do not hear anything... Why and what on earth are they getting paid for?? :o

Ok.. Finally was able to catch CIC agent after a long wait..

She said that sponsorship application has been "APPROVED" and file will be transferred to VO by end of this week. ;D ;D ;D :D

that relieves me from upcoming stress to wait for a letter.. :) :)

As per the update it says that they started working on my appli on Oct 20 and letter has been mailed on Oct 20..So I believe the approval date must be Oct 20.. :D

Congrats kuku to you and all others who received a confirmation. My hubby´s applictaion was apparently received August 22nd, so maybe next week we´ll hear from CIC.
 
Congrats to all of you who have received sponsorship approval in the past few days! Another week down, another week closer for the rest of us ;D

I am new in this site, i just kept on reading all your comments and gives me more patience while waiting for the result on my application... your kind words are very encouraging...
I am an August applicant as well..Missassauga received my application on August 8, i couldnt wait for the letter and while at work this morning i called cic and they told me that my application was approved God's grace...and they sent the letter on August 18th. when i got home i checked the mail box and yes... the letter was there....
try calling cic call center early morning they open at 8 am eastern time....( i called exactly 8 am) i know some of you are from vancouver where you guys are 3 hrs behind. but its worth waking up early to hear some good news right??? i've only waited for 5 mins to speak to an agent.

I am pretty sure your letter is on the way if you dint get an email by now ..

Mine was approved on Oct 20.. So your decision must have been made by now.. Just wait for a couple of days or give them a call tomorrow.. You won't get a satisfactory answer for sure but who knows calling them up makes them update your info on website as it happened to me.. May be it is not relevent and just a co incident but it happened that after calling them up in the morning I could see the update by the noon..
Appli was approved on oct 20 though!!
