HI , the approval letter you got on top left of that letter it has file number and and uci . u can use these numbers to check ur status online. ur wife won't get anything regarding sponsorship approval but will be notify if they need extra docs or for the ppr..

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your reply. Just curious, have you also applied for your spouse and if so which Visa Office please? Is it New Delhi???
 
hi guys we filed application on 24 august and it been sent on 30 august by post mail to immigration and we still have not heard from them i check application status with reciept number nothing on system, its been now 74 days i do not know whats wrong ? anyone have an idea waiting for your help thank you ??

Hey Guys,

Once our sponsorship is approved, in the letter, we receive a file number that starts with F-xxxx-xxxxx
I am assuming we are able to check the further status once file has been transferred to the VO.

My questions:

1. When we input the F code, which category does it fall under? Application number, I'm assuming

2. For the name, DOB and Country, do we put the sponsor's info or the person being sponsored?

I was having issues logging in. I mean I can log into e-cas with my UCI# but that just serves the purpose of sponsorship info and not beyond that,

UCI number and sponsor details to log on. The sponsor can monitor on ecas even the PR portion of the process. The File number pertains to the applicant and the applicants info is used to log on. All the applicant can see is their portion of the process.

I logged in for the first time with the file number, and the mailing adress is there. Does that mean anything? Was it there from the beginning or did the VO update that?
