Hi all, just had PPR email today. I will be posting our passports next day delivery, just want them to get there fastest and safest way possible.
So hopefully not long now :) its been a long, challenging and draining process. It has taken almost 6 months to get this far. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting for PPR, hope you get it soon ;)
Hi all, just had COPR email today. We will be leaving for Canada soon :D our application has took 25 weeks, to the day. I wish everyone still waiting good luck. Hang in there, the process takes time but even after all the stress , up and downs :(, that one email makes it worth it :) and remember good things come to good people

I just received my endorsement letter for Cleaning Supervisor and the Immigration officer stated that skilled level B is highly Skilled. Please can someone confirm this information @TheNorms @wardea90

You wait. They will email you with an AOR, this can take three to twelve weeks.

I have a few questions about the AIPP. Here is my situation. I am under Post Graduate Work Permit, and it will expire on July 2019. I am planning to apply under AIPP since my employer is already a designate and they are willing to help me through the process. I am a Certified CCA in Nova Scotia. I just did my IELTS and my overall score is 7.5.

My question is, is endorsement letter the same as nomination of the province? And how many months will the endorsement letter decision be?

Correct me if I'm wrong but AIPP is employer driven right? So all the process will be done by my employer. I am just kinda lost, because I don't know where to start or how to start my application. :(

Also, can I extend my PGWP? Or at least apply for an open work permit before it expires? Or should I apply for a closed work permit? This makes my situation even more complex because I have a common law spouse who is an international student. We have declared ourselves common because we were living together since Dec 2017.

And last but not the least, which stream is better? Provincial Nominee Program or the AIPP?

Need help....,
My wife and i both international student and graduate from college in Newfoundland, My wife had 1.5 years NOC C level work exprience and her boss just got designed employer with NL goverment. because we missed 24 months eiligible from international graduate program. The question is:
1). we had PNP paper-base received by IRCC two weeks ago, but whole processing time will up to 19-24months. Can we apply two different program together?

2).we have almost 1800h NOC level C job expriences with same employer. Can we apply this program? cause we missed 24 months eligible form international graduate.

You can apply for PNP and AIPP applications both if you are eligible. Both have their pros and cons. Once you get PNP the processing time for PR can be between 19-24 months. But success rate is 99.9 percent as it is based on experience you already have. But if you get an endorsement under AIPP you can get PR within 6 months but the process is very strict at federal level of PR processing. AIPP PR status is based on job offer. If employer withdraws job offer at any point in processing and tells province, the province will withdraw endorsement and PR will be rejected. And Canada allows multiple PR applications(my friend applied via PNP and express entry, when he got PR under express entry he withdrew PNP file).
IN AIPP until now around 3700 job offers has been made and 2500 files approved. So the other 1200 applicants are either in process, rejected applicants, frauds, misrepresentations or got their files returned as incomplete files.
You should email province they will tell you if a person is already a PNP nominee will he get endorsement too.

If you get endorsement you can apply Open work permit under AIPP.
If you applied PR under PNP you can apply open work permit after you get AOR. But you must get AOR before your work permit expires.

If you have already named your brother in family information form and have a connecting flight from toronto to new brunswick even if its a week or two apart and your employer is okay with it then it is within your rights to do this.
Now let’s be practical when you will land in canada as a PR their is a rare chance your flight will land in new brunswick directly. You will land in toronto, vancouver, montreal, ottawa first and go through CBSA. And when CBSA triage landed immigrants we have to give them our contact address where they will send our PR cards. We can call them later via phone too but still we will need a contact address. If CBSA officer checks your travel plans and their is no connecting flight ticket and no address for PR cards in NB they may become suspicious of your intent. So please don’t give (outside of NB address)for PR cards. COPR means nothing if CBSA is suspicious of your intent they still have the right to refuse you entry. Its better your brother should come to NB and after your settlement you may visit your brother. You can be lucky if CBSA don’t suspect you of dual intent, but it can be a hurdle to future AIPP applicants.
Thanks

Dear All,

I am working in Dubai as Logistics Manager and my wife is in banking sector. I am planning to explore AIPP option as my CRS is very less and won't be that easy to get invite via PNP as well.

Could someone guide me little about the process. Any idea about the preferred NOC's for AIPP or what are the steps that can help to get a job offer.

Would appreciate your valuable advice.
