Not to discourage you, but I know people who submitted application in Feb 2019 and received AOR in Jan 2021. This is due to pandemic and nothing usual about it. Good thing is they have started processing applications now... So stay put.. you will get it eventually. You can still raise web form inquiry though. Good luck.
Okay thank you soo much for this important information.

Right, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, IRCC has its extremely good excuse for the delays. We have left with no choice, but waiting. Be patient and hope for the best then.

Background check: in progress
Hi, thanks for your information.

Just be curious that how can you know your background check is in progress? Because as far as I know, all profiles are set default with "We are processing your background check" and "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"? Thanks.

yup. it will be default all throughout your application. you will not know if you they are doing it. it will be updated once you get the final decision. Ours was dated January 21, 2021 when they asked for the additional documents. We only seen the date of background check when we had the approval.

I had applied under aipp program for pr From India on Feb 1 2020 to nova Scotia Sydney ,I did not received aor yet , anyone have idea what is wrong with this, I am in huge trouble and in tension .
You should raise a web-form check your AOR status, but I also understand that it might take time for IRCC to answer you as well. My last requested web-form had been responded after over a month and the other two before that have no reply at all from IRCC.
