Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Finally did my first ATIP report and shows good details in the notes for he officer working the case. Says I received the RQ due to discrepancies in my absences reported for the ICES report. Figured as much since I did not request my dates of travel from ATIP before applying. Highly recommend all applicants due that to help prevent RQ so you can be more accurate in reporting absences.

Displays notes when RQ received and forwarded to officer. Good follow-up to make sure everything was received.

100% agreed. It is good to have CBSA or ICES report on hand before applying to make sure history of entries on your passport matches to that of CBSA report because if they find discrepancies later on it can be an issue . I had obtained my CBSA report before applying and luckily all entries on CBSA report matches to that on passport

It takes 30 days to get it. Listen it says on CIC website that not to order this report and it can delay your application. IF you are applying for citizenship, make sure you get this report well advanced before applying.

Strange thing is, this is the service they offer and it is perfectly legal and allowed under Govt laws but at the same time they ask you not to order. They just don't want to put burden on themselves. Another reason is, this report is not required in every one's case. This is mainly for your personal satisfaction if you want to make sure your entries to Canada are recorded accurately in their system. Many people have reported some missing enteries in their CBSA report and keep in mind that this report is not always 100% correct and there can be mistakes. If you find mistakes in this report, you can approach them to correct it but keep in mind they can't change entry dates , only if your personal data is wrong that can be fixed.

One piece of advise I would give you that if you get this report and if every entry date in this report matches with that in your passport, only then include this report with your application otherwise don't do it as it may cause unnecessary confusion. You know what I mean. . In my case every entry date matched with that of my passport so I included this report with my application and I got this report well advanced before applying.

Good luck!!
