Hi. Got my ATIP back today. Can anyone explain what's going on here?

Description: Applicants passed first test however residence issues/concerns not resolved at time of interview. File is being returned to RQ queue to be assigned to an Officer for review/analysis. FPAT required. WT

I haven't received any mail from them since the citizenship test, which was taken March 18th, 2014. Last time I talked to the Call Centre, they said I don't need to send in anything, just wait.

Been a resident since 2009 and left Canada for a total of 23 days in the last 5 years. I also just applied for a PR card renewal, which I am now starting to worry about as well.

Citizenship application filed on November, 2011.

Thanks.

Is Exactly what I got in my recent ATIP , please shed some light of what happened at the interview on the test day.

Regards

My two concerns about the interview are:

1. The officer was confused about the expiration dates on my passports. She mistakenly thought I had a 3 month gap between passport renewals, but in fact I renewed my passport 3 months before its expiry date. I was caught off guard and wasn't able to explain it properly.

2. During the interview, the officer asked to me to run through the last 5 years of my life, which I found surprisingly hard to do off the top of my head. I messed up a few dates such as which month of which year I started such and such job, and those were written on my application right in front of her.

Hi kimchi_chiage,
1-I think you shouldn't worry, it is very normal we got nervous at Citizenship interview and I am sure they consider that , they see that every day
2-Your time line and ATIP comment is very similar to mine, so please let us in contact here to follow up.
3-Call CIC centre to ask about FPAT situation , if that is normal to every one or preparing for judge interview
4-What is the hearing status in your ATIP ?, mine is not required

Cheers

My ATIP also says hearing not required. .

I called CIC about FPAT , the agent on the phone had no clue, he said if I didn't hear from them on the 36th month they will send an inquiry, I told him they told me earlier it is 35th months , as it is the time line , he said it is 36 month , again , he had no clue

36 months from which date? From the date you first submit your application?

Yes, 36 months from the date I submitted my application that what the last agent said, but I know he is wrong, it should be 35 months as per the current posted time line.
If you have time , please ask another Agent about FPAT , and if it is a good sign for the oath or it is another long delay

Cheers

current processing time is 35 months for non routine.

FPAT : FILE PREPARATION TEMPLATE . form filled by CO after RQ review before submitting
a file to CJ.

in my ATIP, there is one thing, I do not understand

priority 2 Medium
retention period ; 6

what is meant by retention period 6, are they going to retain the application for 6 years ?? anyone who has the same thing in their ATIP ??

@ Janoo, thank you very much, so do you think that FPAT is a routine procedure to pass to the CJ before approving or it is usually means there is a problem and needs to be resolved by the CJ ?

Cheers
