Hi all,

I have just obtained by Citizenship yesterday, and I wanted to request access to the notes on my file so I can get more insight on the process of the application, I know it's redundant but I'm curious. Has anyone ever done this? What sort of information do you receive?

Yes, I've done it. You can order either the GCMS notes or a copy of the physical documents.
While it was interesting, it's not overly informative. The usual redactions apply, so you don't get any "juicy bits".
However, it's free, so why not....

I don't see any difference between before and after oath, in applying for GCMS notes. Do whatever you did to get the notes before your oath. But like the other poster said, there isn't much interesting info in there..

It's always at least 30 days. I believe that they deliberately don't service them in less time, even if they are able to do so.
