Finally, the day is here for me to party. 9 months 5 days of wait - just gives the feeling of having delivered a baby!! Ah! what a sign of relief - the wait is finally over! We have received our PPs with BEAUTIFUL maple leafs ;D(Well I have not yet seen the maple leafs; but got confirmation from my home who received them and had a look before calling me).
My sincere gratitude to ALL the forum members who have continually keep asking and answering queries, provide suggestions and enlighten the larger audience. I am not that very active member, but still managed to peep in now and then. Also, I donot have any immediate plans to move to Canada. It was because of my Brother's push that I started the process; ofcourse I was needing it too! However I wish to land before expiry, and hope to move in due course.

Toughest Situation:
Obtaining the Job Experience Reference Letters from the employers (reporting managers) on the company letter head. However I had started applying for to CIC (1st step) only after obtained these. This situation though was toughest, was a BIG ASSURANCE for me even before I started the processing and all through the processing as well.
Childs Play: :-*
The easiest among all was obtaining the copies of ALL education/travel/civil-status/employement/photo related documents. My parents have taught me to be organized which helped me here. Almost all the documents were in place; its just a matter of taking xerox of these docs.
Slippary Task: :'(
Obtaining the PCCs was a slippary task. I had to obtain 3 PCCs (UK, USA & India). I did not want to invest in these two before I get AOR. After obtaining AOR, the time appeared very less. Obtaining finger prints was a big head ache; followed by time consuming tasks like postal delays. It was indeed very slippery with respect to timelines.
Most Time-Consuming/Effort-oriented Activity: ???
Ofcourse it was IELTS. Considering the average effort required per task, IELTS needed lot of preparation. Had to go back to my college days over 9 years ago.
Moderate Difficulties: :-X
Collecting Proof of Funds from various sources, Supporting work experience letters, arranging such a BIG package into easily identifiable and readable pieces, ensuring consistency among all the individual pieces, preparation of covering letter - were among the moderate ones. Just needed patience and some one who could independently review. My father was a real help in this regard - even though he did not have deeper understanding of the CIC process, he was helping out all through ensuring consistency in layman's terms.
Happiest Moments:
Ofcourse yesterday when online status changed to 'decision made' and today when back-to-back follow on of the stamped Maple Leafs arrived.

The RPRF fees changed just 5 days before I had sent the full documentation. I had already taken the DD for the previous amount. This forum happen to keep me informed at the right time, so I could cancel-&-obtain-new-DD for correct amount. This certainly helped me not loose additional time.
The two "Bring Forward" dates - my analysis!! :-\
From Aug 10th plus 120 days results to Dec 07th 2009 as BF1 date. Status changed to "In Process" around a week from BF 1 date. Similarly From Jan 19th plus 45 days results to Mar 05th as BF2 date. Status changed to "Decision Made" around a week from BF2 date.
Inference: It PROBABLY does not depend on when CHC has received the full documentation or passport or medicals. It mostly depends on BF dates.
I wish ALL the applicants a very happy journey in the application process; and that you all emerge with happy and smiling faces.
