1. No i have no foreign travel history.

2. Actually they took more time in my case, as they misplaced medical
of my daughter. I sent e specific query. Then they replied that they have found it and now going to process further.
After that they requested me send new PP as my previous PP was very old and was going to expire in Sep 2010.

Sg, my visa issue date is 13/05/2010 and its expiry date is 20/11/2010 (that is date of my medical).
I think you will get VISA very soon because your medical validity period is
going to expire in Dec 21, 2010.

I did raise one earlier to which the reply of background checks where in progress, the recent most reply I got was on thursday that background checks are complete and its pending for final review by the VO and if everything is fine visa will be issued. Was just wondering about the visa validity as I completed medicals 5 months back and so asked you.

Congratulations Raj1972. I know the wait kills. Good luck. By the way, I landed in Vancouver on May 7th. Job market is very dull over here. Very tough to get a job. All jobs require Canadian experience or any licences.
