My name is Khadar. I am an Indian and currently residing in India. I have recently completed my MBA project report which I am pursuing from University of Bradford, U.K. and the expected graduation date is 17 July 2012.

My wife was student in Canada, and expected to graduate on 20 June 2012, coincidently that is also our anniversary date . She is currently a full time employee with an electronic company.

As I am completed my education, my wife wants me to attend her graduation ceremony, which we are using as in invitation tool. The irony is, we have applied for QSW and have got our medicals done this Feb. We are highly likely to get PR maximum by June (by looking at the current speed of the applications settlement).

Through another post, it was clear that I can apply for TRV although my PR application is in Process.

However, I need assistance on TRV application and predict my chance of getting. Below are few details that will support my TRV application.

Length of Visit: 4 weeks

Have already confirmed and booked my return ticket.

Purpose of Visit:
1. To attend wife's graduation ceremony
2. To celebrate 3rd marriage anniversary which is coincidently on the same day of the graduation.
3. Asses employment opportunity and 'my fit' in Canadian culture before taking-up PR.

Financial Stability:

1. My wife is showing $5000
2. I am showing $8500

Confidence of return:
1. My MBA graduation is on 17 July 2012, in the U.K. (I am currently in India.)
2. A job offer from a software company.

Thanks and Regards
Khadar.

Hi, why so?

I have read about Dual-Intent {.....manuals/bulletins/2009/ob131.asp} that allows one to visit Canada who have already applied for PR.

Do you have any specific reason, or witness an experience?

Regards.
Khadar.

You still have to PROVE that you will return to your home country when a TRV is required. Having a good job is one good way to do that.

Chances are bleak & the Specific reason is because of 'no social ties'
1. You have just an offer letter, not a permanent job!
2. You have already applied for PR which is showing your predilection for settling there, more over you have shown your intention by stating the fact that you wanna explore Canadian horizons before getting PR, isn't it!
3. Moreover your strongest social tie i.e. your wife is already in Canada!

Thats y I suggested you to wait for PR, just to save your efforts, rest is up to u as nothing is impossible, good luck
