Dear all,
End of 2020 we have (myself and my wife)received the express entry invitation from outside Canada. By March 2021 we did our first medical and uploaded all the required file. Then we haven’t heard from them until April this year where they asked us for second medical. Which we didn’t do because we had a new baby in January 2022 so we added her to the application and thought we can do the medical all togther. During this time also we moved to another country and we have informed them about the change.
So they are asking us now additionally for a medical for our daughter and a second one for ourselves. The new country medical fees are crazy. So we asked them for an extension until November 2022 so we can have the medical test in our home country when we go there which cost 50% less. I’ve explained it in a LOE all of that. Especially, that the second medical test request wasn’t really our fault as the application process took much time because of corona. I’ve uploaded the LOE in our online account instead of the medical results and also via the Webform.

Do you think this LOE will result the rejection of our application ? Or you think they will understand ? Or they will just insist that we take the medical test again immediately and not wait until November ?
Thanks a lot!

By when are you supposed to complete the medical? How long of an extension have you requested?
