Asking Delhi University to send educational credentails to ECA Centre

Hi,
I was just wondering how to ask Delhi University to send the attested marksheet to one of the ECA centres (i am planning to send to WES).
Any one is aware of any procedure or whom to contact. Getting the work done from these government officials is such a pain. No clarity, all confusion.
seniors who have already got PR/visa may help. please guide.

Go to the university and ask for "transcript evaluation form", fill in the form and deposit required fees and then they will process your request and send the transcripts in university-sealed envelope to the institution you want it sent to......................phewwwww!!! I think I covered the whole process.

But first ask WES if they require you to do that. As far as I know, you can send your original marksheets and degrees to WES and they will send it back after verifying. They generally do not require transcripts from the college or university.

WES is not asking originals (copies is ok as per country INDIA)........I had gone through the website ......

It might be the case, but when i contacted for my credential evaluation, they asked me to send the originals to verify the photocopies. I assume that is fair enough. Again, contact them personally instead and see what they say.

Please do not send original copies of your documents unless specifically requested by WES. WES does not accept notarized/certified copies of your documents.

Oh well....I am in Canada now and my university was there in this list but they asked me to send originals.

Transcripts are a consolidated marksheets, stamped by the Controller of Exams/ Registrar of the Uni.

they are needed by 'evaluation authorities' like WES etc,
to check where our degree/course stands in comparison to Canadian degree/course.

suppose we hv to do MBA, or any masters course, we wud need to clear their UG course,
if we get a positive evaluation report for our UG, we can get directly into the PG course.

hence it saves a lot of things.

u got to have it, made and sealed in uni. envelope.

it takes 2-3 weeks by indian unis, so apply asap.

also, get at least 5-7 sets.

WES, needs transcripts along with the syllabus, and the system of clearing the exams (obtaining passing marks)

dhakke kha kha ker Delhi uni key, sub arrange kia, and got it all sealed in DU envelopes.
DU staff were supportive and systematic.

note-
u can send the envelope yourself,to WES,,,,,,,no doubt in this.
no originals for WES.


goto du site, to download the 'transcript application form' and it has all the instructions for filling and submitting it.
attach photocopies of ur marksheets.

the Window / office for its submission is opposite the NEW Administrative block, near State Bank of India compound, DU, north campus.
there, Mr. Vijay will handle it.

here u have shred all about university documents for UG degree..its really helpful for me but what about mark sheet of 12 th .. as in the WES document checklist they are asking for statement of marks (means mark sheet or transcript)attested by examination board .. so they will also give us sealed envelope . rt?
now we have 2 envelopes sealed . one from university and one from the board ... so what should we have to do next..
can we have to put both the envelope in a common envelop along with receipt??????? or send both individually?

If I m claiming for Partner's adaptability, where they question about spouse education is asked, it seems to me for this we will have to get spouse's degrees also evaluated and simply IELTS is not the only thing required.

If my assumption is wrong, please provide me the link or source of information as this will be great help. Please. Thanks.

Spouse education needs not be attested. IELTS to be submitted original for spouse ( not attested)

I hope that here you are the primary applicant. If your spouse is primary applicant then no need to attest your education

Hi,

Can someone advise if you'll got the attested and sealed degree and marksheets from Delhi University? I have been trying to get the same from the University but am not able to get thru' anyone there who can tell me if thats possible. They have however confirmed they can give me the attested and sealed transcript.

Will the Transcript from the university be enough for WES to issue the ECA.
