Aside from CRA, where can Sponsor update Marital Status?

Hi. My husband's (sponsor) a PR and is not registered in CRA yet, so he can't update his marital status to married. Where else can he update his marital status? Thank you in advance for your helpful answers.

he can call CRA (1-800-387-1193) nmn or gawa sya ng account sa CRA, pero after nya mkapag gawa ng account sa CRA, maghihintay pa sya ng 5-10 business days(?) para sa security code nya. I updated my marital status sa CRA online e. Nakapagfile na ba sya ng Tax Return?

Di pa po sya nakapagfile e. As in no record pa po talaga sya sa CRA kasi di pa po sya nakaregister. Kaya naghahanap po kami ng alternative way kung saan pa po sya pwede makapag-update ng marital status nya.

Try to call the CRA nlang din po. And idiscuss nyo nlng din don on how you can change your marital status kahit nd pa nkakapagfile ng tax.

Di ba po hihingi yan sila ng account or something for them to trace the person's record? E wala po syang record dun e kaya I think they can't do anything po sa pagcchange ng status nya Kaya po wala muna sa option namin ang CRA kasi wala po talaga syang record dun.

Have you tried contacting them po ba? As far as i know, CRA lng po ung option. Pero itry nya din po siguro lumapit sa accountant regarding sa case nya.
