My h1b renewed on June 3rd[old i94 validity was June 30,2019 and new one is valid until may 2021] with same employer. I went to DMV to renew my DL on June 27th and they said they couldn't see updated i94 date in USCIS SAVE database and raised a request with them. I have plans to visit Canada on emergency work over July 4th long weekend. My US Visa expired long time back so was planning to use Automatic revalidation to reenter USA. So my question is whether CBP has same issue in validating my new i94 validity?? Not sure if they use same USCIS SAVE program or if they have separate channel to verify our information. Please advice. Thanks in advance.
