Dear Friends
I am looking to book Air Canada flight for my arrival to Toronto. Its connecting via Heathrow.
According to the UK border website:
If you are a national of a country covered by the DATV system,(Indian) you may be able to transit the UK airside without a visa. To qualify for this exemption:
1. you must arrive and depart by air; and
2. your onward flight must be confirmed, and must depart within 24 hours; and
3. you have proper documentation for your destination, including a visa if necessary.
My next flight will be departing in 2 hours. I have a valid WP1 visa for Canada.
Can someone confirm my understanding is right.
Thanks
Sugata
