Army Veteran moving to Canada

I’m about to exit the US military and hoping to move to Toronto to study for my MBA. Would the first steps to moving be getting accepted to a school before beginning the immigration process as far as student visa/ permit goes? And does anyone know how it would work if I wanted to call my wife to come with me while I’m there? Thank you for any and all guidance.

How could you move to Canada as a visitor? You should remain in the US until you know you have been accepted to a hopefully public MBA program and been approved for a study permit. If you have the extra funds your spouse should qualify for a WP.
