I have a bachelor degree major in Finance only and when I applied online through Mon Projet Quebec last year in June, for my area of training I chose "mon domaine de formation ne figure pas dans la liste" ( my area of training is not in the list provided). Then there was the option to input my area of training so I wrote finance
Does this mean that I cannot claim any points for area of training?
At uni, I did not do any units of banking hence I did not choose banking and finance as my area of training.
If I chose banking and finance I would be able to claim 9 points for area of training under the new law.
I have calculated my points and I have 51 points excluding the 9 points I can claimed for area of training for banking and finance.
Is this a mistake? Do I need to amend it and choose banking and finance to be able to claim the 9 points?
