Are we allowed a bridging visa once our visa has expired?

Hey there,

What happens if your visa expires while you are waiting for your AOR? I am potentially faced with this situation.

If my visa expires while i'm waiting for my AOR and i transfer to a tourist visa, am I still eligible to activate a bridging visa once i receive the AOR as a tourist?

No, as one of the requirements for the BOWP is, that you're currently holding a valid work permit.
