Hello,
I am wondering if any international student, holding a study permit that normally allows him to work up to 20hrs/week during academic sessions or 40hr/week during breaks can do an internship at any company ( not credited ).
For a student to do an internship in a company, that is essential for his study program, even if he is allowed to work, he has to get an Co Op work permit.
But what if the internship is not credited ? He just wanna do it on his own to gain experience. Is he allowed?
2) What if a student was graduated and got a bachelor of computer science from another country, and he applies for a master degree in Canada and he gets a study permit with the same conditions mentioned above, is he able to work at a company as a software developper part time ( 20hrs/week) ? Since he already has his bachelor? Or his study permit does not exempt him from LMIA process etc..?
