Hello

I am curious to know that people who immigrate to Canada with PR status, are they allowed to get admission in University? Many people told me that if you are a PR card holder then you are not allowed to study? Is it true?

PR = Citizenship minus voting rights. You can study as much as you want. :)

Complete nonsense a PR can study as much as they like assuming they qualify for UNI admission plus of course much lower domestic fees as opposed to the international fees.

Yes, i know its a stupid question! However, many people who failed to get PR keep saying me that I am not allowed to study. Anyways, now I am assured that I can study. Thanks for all the reply

well failed to get PR means they would need a study permit and that is a whole different question. A PR is entitled to study as much as they want and does not need a study permit. As a PR only domestic fees are payable not international. If someone failed to get PR then they are not allowed to stud unless they get a valid study permit.
